Art Pieces

You may submit up to three art pieces. Please fill out all the fields. You must include one digital photography or image of the piece you are submitting. The submitted files must be in JPEG, TIFF or PDF format, and it is recommended you provide a high resolution image that can be used for printing on the exhibition catalog.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application form the artist agrees to the following terms and conditions: Applications are only accepted through this electronic form. Applications must be received by August 24th, 2012 at 11:59pm ET in order to be considered. The chief curator and the artistic committee have full discretion on the selection of pieces for the exhibition, and there will be no appealing or reconsideration of a rejected submission. The chief curator and the artistic committee have full discretion on the placement of the works of art in the exhibition space. Oversized and three-dimensional pieces of work will be carefully vetted due to the characteristics of the exhibition space and tenant rules. There are liability limitations to the type of work submitted.The artist is fully responsible for the packing, insurance and transportation of the works of art to and from the exhibition venue. The dates and times for delivery, installation and pick up are strictly firm due to the venue's busy rental schedule, and there will be no exceptions. Casa de Venezuela, Inc. and the venue will provide insurance spanning the duration of the exhibition. Submitted works of art will be covered by this insurance from the time they are delivered to the venue until the time they are picked up. Artists may choose to offer their works of art for sale during the exhibition. The artist must indicate whether a submitted piece of art is for sale, as well as the sale price. A sales commission will be added on top of the sale price indicated on this application form. Casa de Venezuela, Inc., the chief curator and the artistic committee are not responsible for works of art delivered and picked up outside of the stated dates and times. Acceptance of submissions does not imply endorsement, support or commitments of any nature to the artist by Casa de Venezuela, Inc, the chief curator nor the artistic committee, except for the handling and display of the works of art between the delivery and pick up dates.
